Unleash Your Creativity This Summer
Join Our Summer Break Theatre Class
Step into the spotlight and behind the scenes in Crafting a Show, an immersive week-long theatre camp where students ages 12-17 collaboratively create and perform an original short play inspired by one of Shakespeare’s great comedies.
Designed specifically for the Woodinville Repertory Theatre Education Program by theatre educators Leah Carrell and Rebecca Gelzer, this camp introduces and expands essential theatre skills through a dynamic mix of disciplines. Participants will explore acting, writing, directing, designing, stage management, marketing, and producing—all while learning the collaborative techniques needed to bring a production to life.
Campers will sharpen their physical and vocal techniques, play improv games, engage in imagination and storytelling exercises, and develop design and leadership skills. The week culminates in a performance and production showcase for families and guests, offering students the exciting opportunity to present their original work on stage.
Some minimal outside-of-camp work may be required to complete production tasks.
Join us for a creative journey that builds confidence, inspires collaboration, and celebrates the joy of theatre!
